Driver License Requirements
A valid full (Class 5 or higher) driver's license issued from the country of residence.

Acceptable Licenses
- Unexpired Canadian license or a temporary license/permit issued when original license is lost, stolen or expired.
- Unexpired U.S. license.
- International renters: unexpired license from country listed as acceptable for foreign licenses.

Non-acceptable Licenses
- Learner's permit, mutilated or altered license motorcycle license or license to drive military or company vehicle only.
- International driver's permit is not acceptable on its own; it must be accompanied by a valid license from the country of residence.
- The renter's driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period.

Age Requirements
Any renter who is over 25 years of age and possesses a major credit card. 
 
Deposit Requirements
- Cash deposits are not accepted.
- Lo Cost Rent-A-Car accepts the following rental deposits: VISA, Master Card, and AMEX.

Pick-ups and Drop-offs
Pick-ups and drop-offs are available at the Vancouver International Airport and in the Greater Richmond area.

Insurance
Renters using their own insurance coverage must present valid supporting documentation prior to rental.

Additional Charges
Additional Driver                     $9.95/day (no charge for family member living in the same house)
Over Mileage Charge              $0.20/km
